. . . okay, I started this post two days ago but today I am going to finish it. I am finishing up the layout for Hawaiian Quilt Patterns IV but the other publications are ready to go. My goal is to have everything at the printer next week.
The weather is unbelievably hot! Every day has been in the high 90s with heat indexes about 100-101. These temperatures are expected to last into July. To add insult to injury, we've had no rain at all, not even a pop-up thunderstorm to provide some relief. I am growing concerned about the danger of fire from fireworks on July 4 if there isn't a break in this weather pattern.
Speaking of July 4, here is a complimentary design from News That Counts originally published many years ago. If stitched on 14-count aida fabric or plastic cloth, this design fits nicely into a plastic mug created for needlework designs and still available from Yarn Tree or perhaps your local needlework store.
