Temperatures here have been reaching highs of 98 to 100 for days now and the evenings are cooling(?) only into the mid 70s. Good news is, it's supposed to drop down to the upper 80s by the weekend. That will seem positively balmy, I'm sure. But the high temps do keep me inside cross stitching like crazy. I am trying to finish up Hawaiian Quilt Patterns IV to get it to the printer ASAP. Here's a sneak peek at one of the designs: | Other quilt patterns will include ti, manako (mango), ipu hula and pu'ili, nana honua (angel's trumpet) and lilikoi. If I can come up with more of these small designs, I'll publish Hawaiian Quilt Patterns V in the distant future, perhaps. Everyone stay cool and keep on stitching! |
You can see by the copyright date on the above design that I actually completed these designs years ago and am only now getting them ready for publication. Talk about procrastinating! Actually other stuff got in the way,
but better late than never, right?!
